shutterbuds is a 1st person multiplayer photography game where you and your journalist friends roam a wonderous national park taking photos of landmarks and creatures to fulfill assigned jobs. However, these creatures are unlike any you’ve seen before, and may behave in unexpected ways! Work with your friends to build your reputation and cash in jobs for currency, and you’ll make the front page in a flash!
shutterbuds was my Champlain College Capstone project, developed over the course of 8 months beginning in August. We onboarded 6 new team members starting in mid-January, and launched on Steam in May 2025
As the producer/scrum master, I managed usage of Jira/Confluence, our product/sprint backlogs, and our taskboards. I ran consistent scrum rituals, making sure daily scrums as well as sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews were carried out effectively. I drove the project forward and removed blockers for team members, guaranteeing they can work effectively. I also guided the onboarding of our additional 6 team members to get them integrated into team processes. Steam launching was also primarily driven by myself and our publishing team member, Jacob, with us working together to get the game launched using Steamworks.
