shutterbuds is a 1st person multiplayer photography game where you and your journalist friends roam a wonderous national park taking photos of landmarks and creatures to fulfill assigned jobs. However, these creatures are unlike any you’ve seen before, and may behave in unexpected ways! Work with your friends to build your reputation and cash in jobs for currency, and you’ll make the front page in a flash!
shutterbuds is being developed as my Champlain College Capstone project, and is continuing development into spring semester after beginning in August. We are adding 6 new team members starting in mid-January, hoping to launch in May 2025 on Steam!
As the producer/scrum master, I’ve managed usage of Jira/Confluence, our product/sprint backlogs, and our taskboards. I run consistent scrum rituals, making sure daily scrums as well as sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews are carried out effectively. I drive the project forward and remove blockers for team members, guaranteeing they can work effectively. I hope to continue to do so up until launch!
